Marseille-based Alaix Pulse unveils Moaï, the first single of his forthcoming 6-track EP due for release this summer on KROOKS Records, provided with a hefty & iconic remix by the great San Miguel. Fascinated by African rhythms and heavily influenced by 90ies pop-rock culture, Alaix Pulse has been able to convey emotion and feelings with music. Drawing inspiration from natural elements and the animal life that surrounds us, he forces himself to go off the beaten path and find new ways to engage people into his music.

Moaï is the representation of the great human experience that is his journey. Encountering and discovering new sounds that he has never heard before, like those of nature or unconventional instruments like the hang. This EP tells part of this everlasting story by traveling through oriental music and aboriginal culture before heading back to France where Alaix fused his journey together in his small studio in Marseille.
